Experienced Video Producer, background in International TV, specialising in 360 video and Immersive VR Experiences
I am a proactive and resourceful Producer/Director/Camera Op/ Editor with extensive experience in professional and international video production. This includes creating Digital Content, TV content, producing promotional campaigns, Directing short films, launching and developing channels, Exec Producing and Directing Live Shows, managing budgets and mentoring talent.
I have a passion for all media, the ability to implement ideas and an efficient, flexible approach to work.
As well as developing productions in international markets, I have an extensive and advanced knowledge of the On-Air and On-Line creative processes, including programme development, cross-channel promotion and preparing work for digital platforms.
I am currently working as a freelance Producer/Director under the company name of VIDAVEO. I produce a wide range of content (primarily for online consumption) as well as immersive interactive experiences.
Prior to setting up VIDAVEO I was employed as Senior Producer in the Creative Department at Al Jazeera English in Qatar. This position involved working closely with News, Programming, Marketing and teams from across Aljazeera’s network. I travelled extensively for this work, producing and filming in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the United States. I am fluent in English and Italian with a working knowledge of British Sign Language.
With considerable experience in Live, Recorded, Studio and Location productions, I am familiar with a wide spectrum of video production and I am confident working with creative teams, marketing departments and clients. I can take charge of any assignment, from taking a brief, developing an appropriate production process, right through to post-production and delivery the product in whatever format is required.
As well as being Executive Producer in charge of developing Disney’s daily live show, I have worked as Senior Producer for a wide range of broadcast companies, including Discovery Europe and the BBC. I also worked as Development Producer for Sky Italia during their launch period, producing a series of reality shows and have independently produced campaigns for Discovery Italia and Paramount Comedy Italia.
As well as being very good at managing budgets, facilities & staff, I am a creative individual and always looking for a new challenge. I am also a practical person with a very good knowledge of camerawork, lighting, editing and scripting. My background in graphic design and animation, has proved to be a great asset throughout my career.
